Jane graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education concentrating in Human Development and Family Studies. During her time teaching at UVM she became increasingly passionate about the social emotional and behavioral aspects of the children’s learning & development, realizing her fascination in social work.
After college Jane worked at the Howard Center (A non-profit organization offering mental health services) as a residential counselor gaining perspective on individuals in need of aid. During her time there, she was privileged to work with adults facing severe developmental disabilities on a daily basis.
Jane decided to move back to Chicago (where she grew up) in order to advance her proficiency in working with specific marginalized populations in need. Jane now works as the Education Coordinator at Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center helping individuals seeking their GED.
