Jeannine Salemi (LCPC, BC-DMT, GL-CMA, CADC Candidate) holds an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, Certified Movement Analyst and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Addictions Counselor. Jeannine has been active as a Dance/Movement Therapist and Counselor for twelve years, as well as an on-site supervisor for graduate level interns. She has worked extensively with adults with mental illness and substance abuse issues at Loretto Hospital and Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. She holds the space as a compassionate yet rigorous guide for others to claim their inner light and discover their authentic path to healing and wholeness. Her approach is based on creating genuine interpersonal connection and developing somatic awareness as a way to come into more alignment with our true selves, from which we have more freedom of choice and agency in our lives.
