Above and Beyond Scholarship Program Overview

Magnus Charitable Trust Rebel Voices Scholarship program provides adults with skills critical to achieve economic prosperity.  Launched in 2021, Rebel Voices  provides scholarship assistance to encourage eligible students to pursue a Certification or Associates Degree in Healthcare, Automation, EMT; at Midwestern Career College, and Lincoln Tech and Medex EMT program.  

The Rebel Voices Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of nontraditional students pursuing an Associates Degree or a technical/professional certificate.  In addition to the Rebel Voices Scholarship Program, we also have scholarships available for students from other institutions of higher learning.  

Awards will be provided for the recipients’ education to aid them in obtaining the necessary educational skills to help achieve career goals and objectives.  And, in some cases, related expenses which will include tuition, books and mandatory fees from schools.  Not included are such things as rent, utility payments, repayment of student loans or remaining balances payable to recipient.  In some cases, students will enjoy these benefits:

  • Job Placement Assistance
  • Transportation Assistance

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Clearly defined career goals and objectives
  • Specify the educational requirements to attain the above goals and objectives
  • 18 years or age or older
  • Applicants must reside within geographic boundaries as outlined by Rebel Voices
  • Must demonstrate a financial need
  • Socially, physically, and economically challenged adults
  • High school diploma or equivalent
